Our crackle glaze technique traces its roots to the Song Dynasty's legendary Ge kiln — where controlled firing causes the glaze to split into a network of fine hairline cracks, each piece forming its own unrepeatable pattern. The deep blue glaze deepens the effect, drawing the eye into the surface.
