Cobalt Blue Series

Cobalt is the mineral behind blue-and-white porcelain — a trace of it, brushed under a clear glaze, gives Qing Hua its blue. The Cobalt Blue series uses it the other way round: not as a line, but as the whole glaze. Every bead is covered in a deep, even, faintly flecked blue that reads close to lapis in daylight.

Two bracelets, both in 6mm beads. The Solid is one colour end to end. The Mixed alternates cobalt beads with hand-painted Qing Hua, so the same mineral shows up as colour and as brushwork side by side. About 30 beads to a bracelet, roughly 35g, on elastic cord that fits 14–18cm. Gift-boxed with a care card.
